Yoga and sound bath Workshop

Alwington Village Hall, near Bideford

Atsuko first met Susan when she, almost accidentally, went to her Sound Bath Workshop earlier this year. It was powerful and beautiful. Atsuko instantly recognised its transformative healing power. She approached Susan next day, and this is the result of their encounter.

what is sound bath?

Sound Baths are relaxing, stress relieving and can be a powerful healing experience. You will need your yoga mat, blankets and cushions so you will be warm and comfortable during the Sound Bath. Experience the sounds of Native American flutes, Tibetan bowls and a wonderful Nepalese singing gong washing over you. Often described as a meditation, let the sounds guide you on a deeply relaxing journey.

Atsuko's yoga journey began in bustling London back in the mid-1990s, and since then, she has been sharing her love for yoga through teaching for nearly three decades.

Her classes are characterised by their emphasis on posture-based yoga, and suitable to everyone.  Each session ends with meditation and relaxation, fostering a holistic experience. Atsuko draws from a diverse array of styles to cultivate physical flexibility and strength, ultimately leading participants to profound relaxation

You can find Atsuko hosting classes in Bideford, Appledore, and Barnstaple, along with workshops. She also runs daily and weekly online classes, making yoga accessible to everyone.
